A note from Jyoti

Pause and breathe. Consciously. Come into presence.
Over the last few weeks, I've been gifted many moments of remembering this, even in the midst of a very full schedule. What I continue to notice is that the more I come into presence, the more purposeful, powerful and productive my busy times become. It's an interesting paradox: do less, be more.
This past month has certainly been full. I had the joy of teaching a seven-day Special Yoga training in Bournemouth. It reminded me of the early days - sharing practice together, learning, connecting, spending time with children, and being surrounded by the beauty of the venue and its stunning views. It was one of those weeks that nourishes everyone involved.
We also completed a 20-hour training programme for the psychology team at Birmingham Women's and Children's Hospital. The response has been incredibly encouraging, and the team now hopes to refer many of their patients to us. At the heart of it is something beautifully simple: helping children and families learn to pause, breathe, regulate their nervous systems, and discover a greater sense of safety and ease.
Our Special Yoga team also came together for a couple of intensive strategy days. These moments to reflect are so valuable. We looked back at how far we've come, celebrated what we've created together, and ensured that as new opportunities arise, the Special Yoga train continues to travel in the direction of our deepest values and purpose. There is so much to look forward to, and we're all excited about what's unfolding.
For some time now, I've been feeling a gentle pull back to where my own journey began, with children. Not necessarily children with diagnoses or additional needs, but all children. It feels as though the world is asking us to offer children simple, practical tools to help them navigate life with greater calm, resilience and connection. We're bringing this work back in a new and exciting form, and it aligns beautifully with my new book, Yoga for Every Body: A Guide for Parents, which will be published later this year.
Everything we create continues to come back to one simple purpose: helping people feel safe, connected and valued. Whether we're working with families, therapists, teachers, healthcare professionals or children themselves, that intention remains at the heart of everything we do.
Thank you for being part of our community. Your support, encouragement and shared commitment to this work means more than you know.
