Meet Barbara Kubu, one of our Advanced Level Two Practitioners, and Special Yoga Lead for Austria and German-speaking countries:
"I am Barbara Kubu, mother of two wonderful children and Special Yoga Advanced Practitioner and Trainer. I have been self-employed since 2014 with Shiatsu and Craniosacral, later adding Yoga, and when my son was born with Down syndrome in 2017, my path led me to Jyoti and Special Yoga in London. I was so enthusiastic that I felt I wanted to bring this type of yoga to Austria and the German-speaking world.
I work in Vienna 1:1, with families, and hold workshops throughout Austria. In 2025, the first English-German training with Jyoti took place in Vienna, which touched and delighted me greatly. In the summer of 2026, the 2nd training will take place. Every day I am happy to walk this path, to grow, to support people, and to always stay in contact with my heart. I wish that our network is also expanded in the German-speaking area.
